A fun way to grow herbs, lettuce, tomatoes, or even peppers indoors.   A great very basic introductory video using reused bottles and containers.  Great for those who like to get going with a windowsill setup.   A great video for teachers to introduce Hydroponics to students.

A two-liter bottle method.   Very detailed items list with great visual graphics – almost completely Steve proof.   Unfortunately, does not show the actual video of making the setup, but the drawings are very good and simple for even Steve to understand.  You will need to order some material that you might not initially be familiar with, this will be not a major issue.  Overall another great beginner video for anyone.

This Hydroponic setup is cheap, easy, and quick to setup.   While more complex than using simple used containers systems – this bucket system is the next step up from our previous videos.   In the video, you will be given an honest assessment of price and very detailed step by step instructions.  The only reason that it was given a rating of 8 is not due to the quality of presentation – it is due to the fact you are going to need to know how to use a hand drill and you are going to need to find a food-grade bucket.  This is one system I am going to try this summer.

Let me know how you do with any of these projects.  Of course, there are inexpensive systems and books you can buy off of Amazon and similar sites if you like to just get going.   That’s totally up to you – in any case, Hydroponics can be fun and very rewarding.   Look forward to your comments and questions.
